Day 121 Cutting grass!

In the last almost 7 years Bert and I have been together, he has NEVER, EVER, let me cut the yard. Finally with much frustration of having a clean house and nothing to do tonight while he had band practice he broke down and let me cut the grass!!! I only did the back yard tho, I got off of the lawnmower to get some water and only put it in neutral got up and it cut off on me. The picture on the right shows how much I did cut! I saved the spot around the tree for him, I'd rather get fussed at for not cutting it all, than having to buy a new part because I ran over a root! LOL....

Day 120

My husband and I were discussing a photo for today, this evening, he asked if I had done one yet. Said nope. He said, go take a picture of our rose bush. The funny thing is, I told him, Kelley Crawford said the neat thing to do would be to put my face right where there is an opening! So, that was my picture today!! I want to try it again maybe tomorrow when the sun is out! Taken right at 8 oclock tonight, and it looks like there is tons of light! I love this camera! Only thing is it's grainy because I zoomed in on the one of me Bert took!

Don't judge a book by it's cover!

Self confession, I went to the book fair today, and reminded myself of the saying, "DONT JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S COVER..." I picked up this pretty pink and sparkling book in the biography section. It was a biography on Paris Hilton. LOL. I wanted to set it back down, after seeing oooh Paris Hilton. I read the sleeve of the cover and well, I ended up getting the book! LOL. Thus inspired my photo for today!!!! Best thing about that book... it was $.50! LOL. BONUS! and it will look pretty in my collection of books c ; ha.

Feels to me like spring has finally sprung!

im thinking of starting a "spring series"... because spring makes me sooo happy!! ((: and plus i have a lot of ideas, so what do you think?? im pretty sure earth forgot all about spring and skipped riighttt to summer! :P but thats okay, at least xD we are having a spring now!!!

Day 117 Fireproof!

Since today is 117, I found it odd that I would get on chapter 17 on the same day... Reading fire proof... thought the candle and the flame seemed fitting... I don't know if I like the color and or black and white better?!??!?!
Glad to finally get somewhat caught up with my blogger!!! Posting day 117 on it's actual day!!!
Tomorrow, I'm so ready to get started back into the bright colorful prop photos in my 365 ideas!! I've enjoyed doing daily life photos. Been a different kind of take on the project 365 this year!! But I really miss the creative thinking and really doing daily themes and challenges!! Can't wait to see what the month of MAY has in store for me!!!! I've been waiting till the spring/summer to do some of the ideas I have! I can't wait to share!! But for now, I have to take a picture for today!!!!!

Day 116

My little girl is growing up too fast!

Happy 2nd Birthday Baby Melody!!! I can't believe she let me put her in the mommy's little girl outfit! No questions asked!! And yes, she was getting treats, and for dinner tonight, she will be getting kitty grommet steak dinner!!! ♥

Since I cleaned out my closet the other day, and got rid of an entire bag and a half of clothes, Bert took me to Kohls tonight... I found three shirts, and yes, they said Heather on them! I just had to get them! Number one : Peace Love Music and Photography... that's me Number two Hello Kitty Obsessed that's me ... Paris nights... oh I so want to go back to PARIS AT NIGHT AGAIN... that's my dream!! ♥

We were so full at Ruth Chris, that we didn't eat our dessert there, we brought it home, and OMG. I will recommend this dessert to everyone! CHOCOLATE SIN CAKE!! Even Itty wanted to be part of it... shame, cats can't have chocolate... I might have shared!!

a mutual friend of ours had introduced us one night, but Bert and I really didn't have much of a conversation then, except "NICE TO MEET YA..." until I was wearing this shirt, he came up after a gig and asked me, "Do you belong to me... you are wearing my name on your shirt?" something along those lines... correct me if I'm wrong...

What's in your purse?!

I broke a Friday the 13th tradition. I usually stay at home on Friday the 13th and rent all the Friday the 13th movies, but tonight I went shopping. For... something very girly... make up! I remember in 2010 we did a "what's in your purse..." well I hope all this will fit in my new purse!! ♥ so not the best pic in the world!! Just randomly took one photo late tonight! SORRY! LOL

The hubby and I had a shopping date yesterday. I picked this shirt up at Forever 21!!! I couldn't resist! It was on the manikin and the last one! One of the lines that always laughs is, "Okay, so you're probably going, "Is this like a Noxzema commercial or what?" But seriously, I actually have a way normal life for a teenage girl. " makes me remember all the silly Noxzema commercials they used to have. LOL.

Day 101

Going back to my glitter and my one little word! Now that I have made it to day one hundred again, I need to focus to get to the real goal of day 365!! I have no idea as to why I picked out orange glitter for this photo, other than I love the expression, "ORAGNE YOU GLAD PHOTOGRAPHY IS FUN?!"

Day 100!! GO ME!

this was not at all what I planned but a series of impossible events left me no choice (my imagination was bigger than I thought LOL)...I actually kind of dislike this series a lot....nonetheless I am excited that I made it to day 100....thrilled actually...I didn't expect to make it this far again.....I have learned so much in the first 100 days, mostly how much I have to learn.... But i figured I didn't get what I wanted in the first place, so I have to remember where I started with this project, it was under the same very tree, with Ms Socks... and now she has a Mr Socks... so here's day 100!!!

Since Bert and I couldn't be in Louisiana with our family over there who does a crawfish boil every good friday... we carried on the tradition! Hey, after all, it's a Guidry Family Tradition!! ♥ afterwards I had a baseball game to photograph! Bert and I always enjoy a baseball game!
